Each one goes on your listing the moment you add it. Add the certificate itself and somebody here looks at it, which is what earns the verified badge.
1Sign in and open your profile. Go to yellowpagesrv.com, press Sign in at the top right, type the email you signed up with, and use the code or link that arrives. You land on your profile.
2Scroll to What you hold and press Add a certification or license. It is the sixth card. Two things worth knowing before you start: they appear on your listing in the order you add them, so put the ones customers ask about first; and anything with an expiry date comes off your listing by itself when that date passes. Press + Add a certification or license and the form opens.
3Say what kind it is. Four kinds. Training certification is the body that trained you: RVTI, NRVTA / RVTAA, RVSA, NRVIA, ASE, EPA 608, ABYC, NABCEP, AWS welding, and an LP gas licence. Factory certification is a maker who certified you on their own equipment: Lippert, Dometic, Truma, Furrion, Dexter, Suburban and the rest. Chassis and engine is Cummins Onan, Freightliner, Spartan, Ford and Allison. License is a state license or anything else issued to you by name, typed as it reads on the paper.
4Pick which one, and the level. Which one is a list for the first three kinds, ending in Other, not on this list, which asks what it is called and puts it on your listing as something you say you hold until we add it to the list. A training certification then asks for the Level: Certified or Master certified, which is how NRVTA reads "NRVTA master certified" on your listing. Factory and chassis certifications have no level. A license has no list; type its name, such as Texas LP license, and its state.
5Who issued it, the number, and the dates. Who issued it is the body or maker or state. Number is optional, for a certificate number or ASE test numbers. Issued is optional. Expiry date is the one that matters: plenty of certificates never expire, and a blank box is the right answer for those. If yours carries a date, put it in and the credential comes off your listing on that day, so nothing sits there making a promise you cannot keep.
6Add a photo or PDF of the certificate, and say whether owners can open it. JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF, up to 5MB; a PDF is usually far smaller than a photo. Without a document the credential shows as something you say you hold, which is still worth having: owners looking for it still find you. What it cannot do is earn the verified badge, because there is nothing for anybody here to check. Show this document on my listing is ticked to start. Anyone on the internet can open it, so black out a home address or anything else you would rather not publish before you upload.
7Press Add it. It says "Added. It is on your listing now." That is the whole save: unlike the rest of the profile there is no Save changes step for a credential, and Remove takes one off at once too. If the name is missing or nothing is picked, a line under the button says what to fill in.
8Read the chip on each one. Your credentials sit above the form, each with a chip at the right. Says you hold it means there is no document, or nobody here has looked at it yet. We have seen it means somebody here opened your certificate and it appeared genuine. Expired and taken down are the other two, and both come off your listing. If we read an expiry date off your certificate the card says so and asks you to tell us if it is wrong. Somebody here reads new ones within a day.
9This is what owners see on your listing. Every training certification becomes a badge at the top with the body's name, RVTI, NRVTA / RVTAA, ASE, and a solid Master badge beside it for master certified. Factory and chassis certifications and licenses do not become badges; they are listed further down. The green Credentials verified badge is not something anyone ticks. It appears by itself when you hold at least one credential we have seen and none we have not, and it goes away if you add one without a document, until that one has a document or is removed.
10Further down the card, What they hold lists them all. Every credential that is not expired or taken down, by name, with the issuer, state, number and "good through" the expiry, and See the certificate where you uploaded one and left the tick on. A line under the list tells owners these are supplied by the business, not issued by us.
11And on your page. The same badges under your name, and a Training and certificates card listing each one as Seen with a tick or Stated, with a line explaining that Seen means somebody at Yellow Pages RV looked at the certificate, Stated means you say you hold it, and neither is a guarantee of the work.
?Two things to know. Insurance is a separate tick in the first card, Your name and badges, and has nothing to do with the verified badge. And if a credential of yours is taken down in review, a note from us appears on its card on your profile saying why; write to support@yellowpagesrv.com if you think that is wrong.
