Verified means the technician put a document on file.
When a technician adds a certification to their listing, they can attach the certificate that goes with it. A listing shows the green Verified badge when every certification on it has a document attached.
That a document is there. We are a listing service, not a licensing body. We do not confirm that a certificate is genuine or current with the organization that issued it.
Most technicians let you open the document itself from their listing: look for See the certificate under the certification. If a certification matters for your job, look at it, and check with the organization that issued it if you want to be sure. NRVTA, NRVIA and RVTI each publish a way to confirm a certification.
A manufacturer, a training organization or anyone who knows a claim to be false can write to support@yellowpagesrv.com. We take the claim down while we look, and we keep a record of who told us and why.
A Verified badge is not a guarantee of the work, and plenty of good technicians hold no certificates at all. Hire the way you would hire any contractor: ask questions, ask for proof of insurance, and get the price in writing before work starts.
