About ThatRVtech

I’m Nick Buchanan, better known online as That RV Tech. I’ve spent most of my career in the RV industry, starting as a technician and eventually working my way through dealership service, shop leadership and management before starting my own mobile RV service and inspection business.

Over the years, my role in the industry has grown well beyond turning wrenches. Today, I spend much of my time educating RV owners, creating technical content, consulting with manufacturers, working with engineers and product teams, teaching at events, and helping bridge the gap between RV owners and the people who build and service their RVs.

Through That RV Tech, I’ve built a community of hundreds of thousands of RV owners who follow my content to better understand their RVs, learn how to maintain them, troubleshoot problems, and hopefully avoid some expensive mistakes along the way.

I’m still a technician at heart, but these days my focus is less on taking service calls and more on education, advocacy, and helping improve the RV ownership and service experience as a whole.
