Hello, my name is Scott Tye. I inspect all types of RVs all over Texas. I am an RVTAA Certified RV Technician #2491 and an NRVIA Certified RV Inspector #3720. My wife and I own an old Foretravel diesel pusher that we drive nationwide.
If you're visiting my page, you're probably just a few days away from buying an RV. It's an exciting and stressful time.
If I could share only one helpful word with you, it would be this: when buying a new RV, I usually find between 10 and 20 things wrong with it. If you skip the inspection, you'll still find those 10 to 20 things, plus the normal things that break in the first few years of ownership. Instead of enjoying your RV while it's still new, you'll likely end up on a first-name basis with the service department at your dealership. It's better to have all the issues fixed before you roll off the lot.
When buying a pre-owned RV, it pays to have a list of what's wrong before you start negotiating the price. You'll know more about the RV than the owner or the dealership does.

Seen means somebody at Yellow Pages RV looked at the certificate and it appeared genuine. Stated means the business says they hold it and we have not seen it. Neither is a guarantee of the work, and plenty of good technicians hold no certificates at all.
